COLLECTION DEVELOPMENT: FMD 447
The purpose of this class was to design a cohesive clothing collection. This collection was titled Heal and drew inspiration from flowers that bloom from forest fires and how it relates to healing from PTSD and trauma.
DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES: FMD 437
The purpose of this class was to utilize fabric manipulations and fabric printing to create our own patterned fabrics for two garments.
DRAPING: FMD 345
This class taught the fundamentals of draping for pattern making. A total of four looks were created for this class on a size 8 dress form.
FLAT PATTERNING: FMD 245
This class was an introduction to flat patternmaking. The first garment was a half-scale dress, the second was a muslin mockup of a strapless dress that was later used for the Threads fashion show, and the third was a pair of culotte pants that were also used for the Threads fashion show.
